Digital Art

One of our studio projects was to create a movie poster based on one of five classic video games: Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, Earthworm Jim, Sonic, or Battle Toads.
I chose Battle Toads.

This and the next piece were from my Human Redesign project for studio. I had to redesign the human body and create my "ideal" human. For this I created a human that was extra sensitive to their environment and their surroundings, thus giving them a strong peripheral vision, a complex nasal cavity, and goose-bumped skin.

This was the second piece to my Human Redesign project for studio. Once we had our human we had to create a "monster" to accompany it. I took inspiration from two things: that I wanted this monster to be still considered beautiful, but also visually uncomfortable. Which is why I gave her arachnid features to contrast her femininity.

This is an exercise I did for myself, a mummy.

This is the "villain" concept from our World Building project. My partner and I decided on three objects (honeycomb, the [human eye] iris, and rust) that we were to draw inspiration from while building our world. This creature is the main predator of the world, who reacts to light like the human eye: it shrinks and loses strength the closer it goes towards the internally lit environment. But due to  its need to hunt for prey, this creature has evolved able to withstand greater and greater amounts of light.

Thanks again for checking out my work!
